The Payment Summary screen now includes a\u00a0<strong>Cancellation policy<\/strong>\u00a0row. Tap it and a simple overlay shows the key terms in clear, colour-coded tiers, from free cancellation before your booking is confirmed through to the fees that apply closer to the appointment time.<\/p>\n<p>You can check the terms and close the overlay without leaving checkout, and a link to the full policy in the Help Centre is still there if you want more detail. If the booking is rescheduled or cancelled, the follow-up email updates or removes the calendar event, so your calendar stays accurate. For privacy, the calendar entry shows your suburb rather than your full street address.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Verify_your_mobile_number_with_a_phone_call\"><\/span>Verify your mobile number with a phone call<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Can\u2019t receive text messages? When you sign up or verify your mobile number, you can now choose to get your verification code by\u00a0<strong>automated voice call<\/strong>\u00a0instead of SMS. The call reads your 6-digit code aloud, and you can switch between SMS and a call at any time on the code screen.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Clearer_emails_when_a_refund_is_issued_as_Blys_credit\"><\/span>Clearer emails when a refund is issued as Blys credit<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>When a cancellation or booking change results in a refund as Blys credit, your email now says so clearly, including the amount added to your account. Credit is applied automatically at checkout on your next booking, and if you\u2019d prefer a refund to your original payment method, our Support team can help where applicable.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Homecare_block_a_pro_for_a_specific_recipient\"><\/span>Homecare: block a pro for a specific recipient<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Homecare coordinators can now block a pro from being matched with\u00a0<strong>one specific recipient<\/strong>, while still allowing that pro to accept bookings for other recipients in the same organisation. Previously, a manual block applied to every recipient under the Homecare provider. This gives coordinators finer control over matching without limiting their wider network of partner pros.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A_more_helpful_page_when_a_pro_isnt_available\"><\/span>A more helpful page when a pro isn\u2019t available<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>If you open a link to a pro\u2019s profile and that pro is no longer available on Blys, you\u2019ll now see a clearer page that explains what happened, with a\u00a0<strong>Find another provider<\/strong>\u00a0button so you can keep browsing instead of hitting a dead end.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"For_Providers\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For Providers<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Meet_the_Blys_Wallet\"><\/span>Meet the Blys Wallet<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The new\u00a0<strong>Blys Wallet<\/strong>\u00a0brings your earnings, payouts and credit together in one clear view. Your balance is split into three parts:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Available:<\/strong>\u00a0cleared earnings that are ready to be paid out<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pending:<\/strong>\u00a0earnings that haven\u2019t cleared yet, for example while a job is still in progress or a payment is being collected<\/li>\n<li><strong>Credit:<\/strong>\u00a0Blys credit (such as referral rewards or bonuses) that you can use on Blys, kept separate from your cash earnings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Every change to your balance appears in a single activity history, with links back to the related booking or payout. It\u2019s an easy way to understand the impact before deciding whether to cancel. Available in the Blys Pro App and on the web.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Fairer_fees_for_couples_and_group_bookings_cancelled_well_in_advance\"><\/span>Fairer fees for couples and group bookings cancelled well in advance<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>If a pro cancels a confirmed couples or group booking\u00a0<strong>more than 48 hours<\/strong>\u00a0before it starts, they now pay only the standard cancellation fee: 25% of their own platform fee, capped at $20 per booking. The other pro\u2019s payout and booking fees are no longer added in this window.<\/p>\n<p>For cancellations 48 hours or less before the start time, the existing couples and group policy is unchanged, which continues to protect the other partner pro who has accepted the booking. If you have an emergency, contact our team and we will assist.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"WhatsApp_job_alerts_in_Germany_France_Sweden_and_Norway\"><\/span>WhatsApp job alerts in Germany, France, Sweden and Norway<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Pros in Germany, France, Sweden and Norway can now receive new booking alerts on\u00a0<strong>WhatsApp<\/strong>, alongside push notifications and email. Now, clients and pros can message each other\u00a0<strong>as soon as the booking is confirmed<\/strong>. That means questions about parking, access, equipment or preferences can be sorted early rather than at the last minute.<\/p>\n<p>Chat also stays open for\u00a0<strong>1 hour after a booking is completed<\/strong>, so there\u2019s time to share a final thank you, a follow-up question or a forgotten detail.
