SNS nails are made with powder and glue, and the combo creates a long-lasting bond on your nails. What makes it different from your standard mani is that it doesn\u2019t have that strong, acrylic smell and it doesn\u2019t require a UV light to cure it the way gels do \u2014 making it a solid alternative, especially for anyone who is nervous about the potentially harmful effects that the UV lights used to dry other types of polish can have.<\/span><\/p>\n

How are SNS nails applied?<\/b><\/h3>\n

The dip powder manicure process is fairly simple. The nail technician files and shapes the nails then they cleanse with a primer. The nail tech will then apply a coat of resin brushed on the nail plate and dip one finger at a time into the colour powder. Afterwards the activator is brushed on two or three times on the nails (depending on the product they are using). To complete the process, a glossy top coat is brushed on the nails, giving your manicure a shiny luxurious finish.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This type of manicure is known to be long lasting and consists of organically processed chemicals Benzoyl Peroxide, Titatum Dioxide, Acrylic Ester Polymer, said to be safer to use on your nails.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text]
