We also call the hotel immediately after receiving the booking and try to organise parking for you, however we can&#8217;t guarantee parking, as some hotels simply don&#8217;t offer parking to guests or staff.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"text-live\"><span style=\"color: #808080;\">We also try to organise parking for corporate\/event bookings to help therapists on the day, however we cannot guarantee that parking will be available as it depends on location and client. Some therapists prefer to have portable speakers, and some prefer to use their phones only. Whichever works for you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"text-live\"><span style=\"color: #808080;\">If you&#8217;re playing music from your phone, you can download music directly onto the phone or there are many music apps and services you can use. Spotify is a favorite with our therapists. Because we can&#8217;t have any ads during our massages you&#8217;ll need to pay the $11.99 a month for the premium edition, but it is a tax write off since it&#8217;s for your business! This makes them feel less self-conscious, and it also keeps them warmer when their toes or the side of their arm isn&#8217;t sticking out.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"text-live\"><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Less to Carry- Sheets are so much more lighter than towels. They will shrink your massage bag by at least 1\/2.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"text-live\"><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Easier to Wash- You can fit more sets of sheets into the washer, and they dry in 1\/3 of the time towels take.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"text-live\"><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Cheaper- You can buy a set of twin\/single sheets at Kmart for $17. One oversized towel will cost you from $10- $20, depending where you get it.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Tip: For those who use the face hole built into the table, simply cut a hole in the fitted sheet for their face to go into. It also gives us and our therapists the opportunity to get immediate feedback from our customers &#8211; and ultimately improve our service over time based on that feedback.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">The ratings are on a scale of 1 to 5 &#8211; where 5 indicates \u2018amazing\u2019, and 1 indicates \u2018very poor\u2019 experience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #808080;\">In any case &#8211; customer feedback is EXTREMELY important for us and we monitor them very closely. We listen to all feedback carefully (good or bad) &#8211; and take them all on board and use that feedback to make Blys a better service for both our customers and therapists.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">You can find your rating in the Account section of our therapist app.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner boxed=&#8221;true&#8221; column_padding=&#8221;padding-4-percent&#8221; column_padding_position=&#8221;left-right&#8221; background_color=&#8221;#ffffff&#8221; background_color_opacity=&#8221;1&#8243; width=&#8221;1\/1&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1517132231303{padding-top: 40px !important;padding-bottom: 40px !important;}&#8221;]WHAT HAPPENS IF A CLIENT LEAVES A BAD RATING\/REVIEW?<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">It\u2019s very rare that we receive a rating below 5 (our current average across all bookings is 4.9! &#8211; and we\u2019d like to keep it like that).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">If\/when we receive a below-average rating and a negative review &#8211; we take a constructive approach and follow a certain process which we think provides the best outcome for all involved.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">It\u2019s important for us to form\u00a0a more objective view &#8211; so we first get in touch with\u00a0the therapist to get some details about the appointment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Some of the questions we may ask are &#8211; how the appointment went, if they\u2019ve observed any specific issue that may have resulted in customer giving a sub-par rating.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Then we reach out to the customer to better understand the\u00a0reason\u00a0for their rating, and address their issue\/concern as best as we can.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Having one bad rating does not make us a\u00a0poor service &#8211; or you an incompetent therapist. In fact, we truly believe every genuine feedback (particularly negative ones) is a blessing that helps us become better at what we do.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">However, ultimately, your rating is your reputation on Blys. If you\u2019re repeatedly receiving below-average ratings and poor reviews, this is the process we have in place to ensure we maintain service quality on Blys:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">If a therapist receives;<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #808080;\">1 below-average review = consult with therapist and work together to address the issue\/concern<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #808080;\">2 below-average reviews = go through the onboarding\/induction process again, to ensure Blys &amp; therapist are aligned in\u00a0their understanding of what Blys is \/ does \/ and strives to be<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #808080;\">3 below-average review = contract termination &amp; removal from platform<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #808080;\">In addition to this, our system prioritises therapists with better reputation on Blys platform. For example, say we received a job request from Clovelly. If we have 2 therapists available in Clovelly, one with an average rating of 4.9 and the other with 4.6, our system notifies the therapist with the better rating first. (As opposed to a back-to-back option where 1 therapist gives massages to both customers, one after the other.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">You&#8217;ll receive 2 jobs from your therapist app for couples bookings with 2 therapists. Please only accept one of the jobs in your app. The other job is for your partner therapist.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Shortly after both jobs are accepted, you will receive a text message from our Operations Team with the details of your therapist partner, so you can coordinate your arrival with your partner.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">We would like both of therapists to arrive to customer location together. Blys will coordinate the arrivals with the client + each therapist separately, to ensure therapists are there 10mins prior to the appointment as we normally do with single sessions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Punctuality is always extremely important for Blys &#8211; but it\u2019s extra important to be punctual for couples massages for two reasons:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #808080;\">Often couples who book massages from Blys have other plans following their massage &#8211; such as dinners, so by being late, we risk ruining their other plans<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #808080;\">The other therapist might be booked for another appointment after the couples massage, so we might upset your therapist partner and the next client<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">If your therapist partner (you\u2019re doing the couples massage with) is running late to a couples session, we would like you to wait for 10 minutes and then go in and start without your partner.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">If it\u2019s a hotel booking (as is the case with some couples massages), please meet your therapist partner at the concierge and go up together.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">A few additional\u00a0guidelines\u00a0for couples bookings:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Must arrive <strong>10 minutes before massage<\/strong>. This is very important. You must be respectful of both the client&#8217;s and the other therapist&#8217;s time. They may have something to get to afterward.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #808080;\">You should <strong>walk into your appointment together<\/strong>. You should wait for the other therapist to arrive so you can walk in together and set up together.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #808080;\">You must <strong>step out of the room together<\/strong> to allow the client privacy to undress and get on the tables. You can both step into a bathroom to wash your hands before the massage.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #808080;\">When you step out together you can <strong>decide who will signal<\/strong> the other therapist when there are 5 minutes left.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #808080;\">If you started the massage together, you must <strong>finish the massage together<\/strong>. This last one is so important. When one therapist finishes before another it may cause one client to feel like they were shorted on time. DO I NEED MY OWN MASSAGE CHAIR?<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Corporate jobs will take place either in an office or at an event.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Blys\u00a0offers chair massage,\u00a0as well as roving desk massage.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Chair massage is done while the client is sitting in a proper massage chair. So, you will need to bring your own professional massage chair to each chair job.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Roving desk massage is done while you are roaming around the office going desk to desk. You either simply give them a back, neck, head massage while they continue to work, or the job could require you to bring a portable desk massage face cradle. The type of equipment required will be stated in the &#8220;Special Instructions&#8221; section of the job in your therapist app, so you will know which kind it is before accepting the job.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">It is always important to be on time, but in a corporate environment they are usually on a very strict schedule. Be sure you arrive at the job site at least 15 minutes early so you have plenty of time to find your contact and to get set up and ready to start on time.\u00a0Find out how long each massage is meant to be, and be sure you stay on schedule.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Be sure you bring all of the equipment you will need for the chair job; massage chair\/portable desk face cradle, disposable face cradle covers, hand sanitizer, wipes or sanitizing spray to wipe equipment between clients, massage music, timer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">If any client loves your service, be sure to refer them to the Blys website to book you for an in-home massage. In this case, simply contact the client directly from your therapist app and let them know &#8211; either via a text or a call &#8211; that you\u2019re running behind, and give them the reassurance that you will add an extra time to their appointment so that they will still get the same amount of time on the table.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Please also remember &#8211; when you tap \u201cOn Way\u201d button in your\u00a0app, we send a tracking link to the client which shows them exactly where you are on a map and how far you are.
