Service providers on the Blys platform undergo a thorough application and verification process to ensure they meet our high standards before being approved to offer their services. Only 25% of sign ups are approved to join our network. This selective approach allows us to maintain the exceptional quality our clients expect and deserve.

Police checks

Safety is non-negotiable at Blys. That’s why every service provider must complete a verified Police Check through our trusted partner, Checked Australia, before they can activate their account. This step ensures that all providers meet the necessary legal and ethical standards to operate safely within our community.

Qualification checks

Professionalism is at the core of our service. To guarantee that, providers are required to submit their qualification documents for every treatment they wish to offer on the platform. Each document is carefully reviewed by our team to ensure it aligns with Blys’ rigorous professional standards. This way, we can confidently connect our clients with highly skilled and qualified providers.

Registered business details

Operating on the Blys platform means being a legitimate business. All providers must supply their registered business details, including a valid Australian Business Number (ABN). For those who don’t yet have an ABN, we make the process easy by providing a direct link to register. This step ensures that every provider operates in compliance with Australian business regulations.

Public liability insurance checks

We believe in being prepared for the unexpected. That’s why all providers are required to have active Public Liability Insurance before offering services on Blys. For those without coverage, we’ve partnered with Upcover to provide a simple and accessible way to get insured. This requirement protects both our clients and providers, ensuring peace of mind for everyone involved.

Initial phone-screening

Verification isn’t just about documents—it’s about building trust. That’s why our team personally contacts every provider during the verification process. This phone screening allows us to review their submissions, clarify any details, and ensure they are fully prepared to meet our high standards.

Before a provider is approved, we go a step further with a follow-up session. This hands-on evaluation allows us to assess their equipment, professionalism, and technique in a real-world context. This ensures that every provider not only meets but exceeds the expectations of our clients.

ID verification

To finalise the onboarding process, providers must complete a thorough ID verification. This includes submitting a government-issued ID, verifying their mobile number, and confirming their email address. These steps add an additional layer of security and authenticity to our platform.

Client rating & review system

Our commitment to quality doesn’t stop at onboarding. Once a provider joins the Blys platform, their performance is continuously monitored through our in-app Client Rating & Review system. This feedback loop ensures that providers consistently deliver the high-quality services our clients expect. Providers who fail to maintain these standards may face temporary or permanent suspension from the platform, as we prioritise the satisfaction and safety of our clients above all else.
