Who Is Event Massage For?

Event massage through Blys is bookable for personal and corporate occasions alike. If you are planning an event and want to give your guests something they will actually remember, this is for you.

Corporate and workplace event planners

You need the logistics handled without back-and-forth. Corporate event massage through Blys gives HR managers and office event organizers access to therapists who manage their own setup, run their own sessions, and leave without requiring hands-on coordination from your side. It is one of the most requested additions to team days, staff appreciation events, and conferences across Canada.

Personal and private event organizers

Event massage through Blys is not just for corporate bookings. Hen parties, baby showers, birthdays, and private celebrations are all fully bookable through the platform, digitally, without a quote call or lengthy email thread. If you have been searching for a mobile spa experience for a private event and struggling to find somewhere that actually lets you book it, this is the answer.

Promotional and sporting event teams

For brand activations, trade shows, and sporting events, Blys connects you with therapists who travel to any venue fully equipped and can operate as a multi-therapist setup depending on the size of the event. The platform handles the booking and coordination, which means your team focuses on the event itself rather than managing a wellness vendor.

Why Add Massage to Your Next Event?

The best events are the ones where guests feel genuinely looked after. Adding onsite massage does that more directly than most other additions, and the logistics are simpler than most organizers expect.

Your guests leave feeling genuinely looked after

Massage for stress relief at an event is immediate and personal. Every guest who gets a session leaves feeling better than when they arrived, which is what makes it one of the highest-rated additions to any occasion, corporate or otherwise. Event wellness services through Blys are delivered by independent professionals who take the experience seriously, and it shows.

It works for any group size or venue

Chair massage takes up approximately 5 x 6 feet of floor space per station, which means it works in almost any venue without requiring a dedicated room or significant space. Whether the event is a hotel ballroom or a living room, the footprint is minimal and the therapist handles everything from setup to pack-down. Event massage for large groups and small private gatherings both work through the same platform, with no minimum booking size required.

Chair massage and table massage, your choice

Two formats are available through Blys for event massage bookings. Chair massage works best for occasions where a lot of guests need to move through quickly, while table massage suits smaller groups or VIP experiences where a more thorough, full-body treatment is part of what you are offering guests.

Short or long sessions tailored to your needs

Sessions run from 5 to 30 minutes per person depending on the format, and every format is designed to fit into a working day without pulling people away from their desks for an unreasonable amount of time. A 15-minute chair massage session can cover a team of 20 in a single morning without disrupting afternoon schedules, which is why most managers find the logistics easier than they expected going in.

Simplifying Mobile Wellness Experiences For Teams

Corporate Massage Services You Can Book Through Blys

Three session formats are available, each suited to a different workspace and team size. Here is what each format involves so you can choose the right fit before you enquire. Desk massage is the most space-efficient option for open-plan offices, chair massage is the most popular format for regular wellness days, and table massage is the premium option for teams that want a full spa-quality experience.

Desk Massage

Desk massages are a great option for offices short on space, because as the name suggests, they’re given while seated at your desk.

A desk massage is done through clothing, without oil and focuses on the individual’s neck, shoulders and head, targeting areas strained by long hours sitting at a computer.

How much space do I need?

None! The massage therapist will visit you at your desk.

How long will this massage go for?

A desk massage is often booked between 5-20 minutes per team member.

Chair Massage

A corporate chair massage also known as a seated massage is a massage treatment provided to clients using a special ergonomic massage chair.

The massage therapist will bring the chair with them to the session and offer staff members a massage that focuses on the back, neck, shoulders, arms, head and hands. It provides relief from the stress of every day life.

How much space do I need?

You’ll need to prepare an area roughly 3ft x 5ft for the massage to take place.

How long will this massage go for?

A chair massage is frequently booked for 10 – 30 minutes per team member.

Table Massage

Just like in a spa, you can book and enjoy a table massage in your office.

The massage therapist will bring the table with them to the session and offer staff members a professional massage and will focus on specific areas of concern. Clients can choose to wear clothing or undress, and the massage therapist will provide any oils, draping or linens necessary.

How much space do I need?

You will need to prepare a private room or area roughly 6.5ft x 6.5ft for the massage to take place.

How long will this massage go for?

A table massage can range in duration, but it must have a minimum of 30 mins per session.

Popular Event Packages

Blys covers a range of event experiences beyond massage alone. Here is what is available to add to your next event, from a simple chair session to a full beauty and wellness setup.

Chair Massage Session

A therapist arrives with a portable chair, sets up in a designated area, and delivers 10 to 30-minute sessions to guests who remain fully clothed throughout with no oil involved. Chair massage is the most popular event format through Blys because it works for almost any occasion, any venue, and any group size without requiring much from the organizer beyond pointing the therapist to a corner of the room.

Mini Massage and Nail Bar

Chair massage combined with an onsite nail bar, bookable together as a single event package. This is consistently one of the most requested packages for private occasions through Blys, particularly for hen parties, corporate appreciation days, and wellness events where a single treatment is not quite enough and the combination gives guests a more complete experience.

Spray Tan Bar

A professional spray tan setup travels to your event location, giving guests a flawless tan as part of the occasion rather than a separate errand before it. This works particularly well for hen parties, birthday events, and pre-event celebrations where guests want to arrive looking and feeling their best, and booking it alongside massage means everything happens in one place.

Lash and Brow Bar

Professional lash and brow treatments delivered at your event by independent beauty providers booked through Blys. This works well for beauty-focused occasions, private parties, and promotional events where a finishing touch is part of the guest experience, and it pairs naturally with massage or a nail bar for a more complete event wellness offering.

Erica was wonderful! From the moment she arrived, she was very friendly, warm, and professional. My husband has been suffering from back pain for years, and he really enjoyed his massage. He specifically mentioned that the pressure was just right — firm and effective without being too much — and that she was very professional throughout the entire session. We had a great experience with Erica and will definitely be booking with her again in the future. Highly recommend!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is event massage?

Event massage is a mobile wellness service where therapists travel to your venue with all their equipment and deliver massage to guests on-site. The organizer provides the space and the therapist handles everything else, from setup to pack-down.

How does onsite event massage work?

You submit your event details through Blys, a therapist accepts the booking and confirms the logistics, and your therapist arrives at the venue equipped and ready to go. The organizer does not need to be involved in the day-of delivery beyond having the space available.

What type of massage is best for events?

Chair massage works best for high-footfall events where a lot of guests need to move through and space is limited. Table massage suits smaller groups or VIP experiences where a full-body treatment is part of what you are offering. Both formats are available through Blys.

Can I book event massage for a private event, not just corporate?

Yes. Hen parties, baby showers, birthday events, and private wellness days are all bookable through Blys through the same platform as corporate bookings, with no minimum group size and no need to call anyone to get started.

How much does event massage cost in Canada?

Pricing depends on group size, session length, and the number of therapists required. You can submit an enquiry through Blys for accurate pricing based on your specific event, with no obligation to proceed.

How many massage therapists do I need for my event?

As a general guide, one therapist covers roughly 6 to 10 guests per hour depending on session length. For larger groups, multiple therapists can run sessions in parallel. You can share your headcount when you enquire and your Account Coordinator will recommend the right setup for your event.

How far in advance do I need to book?

Same-day bookings are available for smaller events subject to therapist availability in your area. For larger multi-therapist events, booking ahead gives you more therapist options. The platform operates 7 days a week so the process is the same whether you are planning weeks ahead or the day before.

Do therapists bring their own equipment?

Yes. Therapists booked through Blys arrive with all their equipment, including chairs, tables, linen, and oils depending on the format booked. The organizer provides the space and nothing else is required on your end.

Is event massage available across all of Canada?

Event massage is available in Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Calgary, Ottawa, and other major Canadian cities through Blys. Availability varies by location, so submit an enquiry to confirm coverage in your city.

What happens if I need to change my event details after booking?

You can contact the Blys support team through the platform or help centre and they will advise on what is possible depending on the nature of the change and how close it is to your event date.

Do you provide corporate gifting options?

Yes, we offer a variety of corporate gifting options! You can choose from massage gift vouchers or create tailored wellness packages for your employees, clients, or business partners. It’s an excellent way to show appreciation while promoting wellness.

Learn more about our corporate gift vouchers here: Corporate Gift Vouchers.
