April brought a refreshed Blys Pro App, richer booking chats, more navigation choice and two new service categories.
Here’s what changed on Blys.
For Clients
React to chat messages with emojis
Not every message needs a full reply.
Clients can now add emoji reactions to messages in booking chat. It’s a quick way to acknowledge an update, confirm a detail or add a little warmth to the conversation.
New Foot Massage and Hand Massage options
Two new service categories were added to Blys in April:
- Foot Massage / Reflexology
- Hand Massage / Mini-Mani
The additions give clients more ways to book targeted self-care and create new booking opportunities for pros who offer these services.
Jump from chat to booking details
Booking conversations often refer to the time, location or service details.
A new shortcut lets clients and pros move directly from an in-app chat to the associated booking details. It reduces back-and-forth navigation and keeps useful context close to the conversation.
Mother’s Day Gift Card designs
New Mother’s Day designs were added across eligible markets ahead of the occasion.
The seasonal options gave clients a more relevant way to personalise a Gift Card for mums and mother figures.
Unread support messages included in email
Email notifications for unread support chats now include the message content.
Clients can understand what the support team has said without opening the app first, helping important updates reach them sooner.
For Providers
A refreshed Blys Pro App
The Blys Pro App received a redesigned home experience and simpler navigation.
Pros can choose whether the app opens to the homepage, Available Jobs or My Bookings, making the first screen better suited to how they work.
The refreshed structure brings key tasks closer together and gives the app a clearer starting point.
Choose your preferred map app
Pros can now choose Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze as their preferred navigation app.
Once selected, booking directions open using that choice, saving time for pros who rely on a particular mapping app between jobs.
See the partner pro before accepting a duo booking
For eligible Couples Massage and duo bookings, pros can now see the partner pro who has accepted before they accept.
This gives more context at the decision point and helps both pros understand who they may be working alongside.
Fairer cancellation fees
The provider cancellation fee for applicable late cancellations was capped at $20.
The change created a clearer and more proportionate fee structure while keeping the existing cancellation policy in place.
For Clients and Providers
Clearer group conversations
Group chats involving a client and multiple pros now make the shared nature of the conversation clearer.
Together with emoji reactions and the booking-details shortcut, this makes multi-person booking chats easier to understand and use.
Smoother chat loading
When older messages are being fetched, chat now shows a loading indicator instead of appearing blank.
It’s a small piece of feedback that makes long conversations feel more responsive.
Download schedules for completed corporate bookings
Corporate clients can now download the schedule for a completed corporate booking.
This makes post-event coordination and record keeping easier, especially for bookings involving several attendees, times or pros.
More improvements are on the way
April’s releases focused on better conversations, faster navigation and more choice for clients and pros.
Keep an eye out for the next monthly update to see what’s new.
