Pre and Post Event Mobile Sports Massage for Sporting Events
The athletes on the field aren’t skipping recovery, and your participants would appreciate the same logic. Book pre and post event sports massage through Blys for race days, tournaments, fun runs and club events, with trusted providers who arrive with their own tables, chairs and everything else they need.
Qualified and highly skilled providers, all screened in advance.

Sporting Events We Cater For
Race Days and Fun Runs
A finish line with a recovery zone behind it changes how the whole day ends. Post-race massage helps participants loosen off before the drive home, and it keeps them in your event area for longer, which sponsors tend to notice.
Tournaments and Club Carnivals
Across a long carnival day, players go from game to game with nothing in between. A massage station between fixtures gives teams somewhere to reset, and it gives coaches one less thing to organise from the boot of a car.
Pre-Event Warm-Up Zones
Pre-event massage is short, brisk and built to wake muscles up rather than settle them down. Ten minutes before a start line does a different job to sixty minutes on a Sunday afternoon, and your therapist adjusts the work to match.
Corporate Sporting Days and Sponsor Activations
If you’re the sponsor rather than the organiser, a recovery zone with your branding on it puts your name in the one part of the day everyone remembers. It also gives your team something to talk to participants about beyond a signage board.

Reflexology
I’ve been suffering with terrible body pain for a long time now. Mostly in my lower back, neck, hips and shoulders. I’ve had massages before with not much relief. I cannot lie flat on my back because of the pain and stiffness. I’m usually always on my side. Also it’s hard for me to go out of the house with the babies as one of them has special needs. As soon as I messaged Cheryl she was ready to come and I received relief almost immediately after the massage. I will definitely be booking in more sessions with Cheryl. She really knows what technique to use for different types of pain and in different areas. She was also able to work around me considering the fact that I was on my side and it was not very easy for her. It was surely a blessing to have her come home for the service. Thank you Cheryl and keep up the great work !

Health Fair Ideas: How to Run a Chair Massage and Stretching Station People Queue For
The best health fair ideas give people something to do, and a chair massage and stretching station does that better than a bowl of apples: plan the layout, pick a session length, manage the queue and book enough providers, and one booking through Blys can put local event massage therapists at your fair for the day, with their own chairs and supplies.

Wellness Lunch and Learn Ideas Your Team Will Actually Turn Up For
Wellness lunch and learn ideas that people actually turn up for are hands-on: a chair massage session , an assisted stretching class or a desk ergonomics walkthrough with a physio, all run at your office in a lunch hour by a local professional booked through Blys.

Grand Opening Ideas That Draw a Crowd: Add a Massage Station or Beauty Bar to Your Launch Day
The grand opening ideas that pull a crowd are the ones people can join: a massage station or a beauty bar by the door, sized to the foot traffic you expect, and one booking through Blys can bring local event massage therapists , makeup artists or nail technicians to your store or venue on opening day.
Frequently Asked Questions
Got A Few Questions?
Give people a reason to come in that isn’t a sale. A visible activation, an express treatment they can queue for, and a time limit on the day all work because they create urgency without discounting your stock. A busy-looking store also pulls in the people walking past it.
Three to four hours over a peak trading window usually beats a full day. A shorter window concentrates the queue, makes the store look busy and gives you a clear start and finish to promote.
Yes. Multi-site activations run off a single brief, with providers booked in each location. Give us the store list and the dates and we’ll quote the whole rollout together.
We ask for 48 hours notice to secure a booking, though the more lead time you can give us on a large activation, the more choice you’ll have over the providers and services.
Absolutely! Our event massage services are offered from 6 am till 11 pm, 7 days a week.
Yes for sure. You can opt for providers to wear your branded merchandise, use your products and equipment and also brief them on your key USP’s to help sell your brand and products to your guests.
All confirmed group bookings (including but not limited to bookings for offices / teams, events, and other groups of 4 or more people) will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee if cancelled after the booking has been confirmed. Additionally, the following will also apply:
- 48 – 72 hours prior to the scheduled booking start time = 20% fee
- 24 – 48 hours prior to the scheduled booking start time = 50% fee
- 24 hours prior to the scheduled booking start time = 100% fee
To ensure you’re in great hands (literally) all providers on the Blys platform are carefully vetted and must complete a comprehensive onboarding process before joining the platform.
We require providers to have relevant qualifications or experience for the services they offer, up to date insurance and valid police checks. We also have an internal rating system for our providers.
Mobile wellness providers are required to bring quite a bit of equipment and therefore parking on the premises is preferred. If that isn’t available, we’ll ask you to specify the closest spot to park and if it requires any costs to be covered.
We require 48 hours notice to secure your booking.
We require all corporate event massage bookings to be paid in advance. We can accept credit cards (an invoice will be sent) or we can raise an invoice and email it to you.
Not really. Having onsite chair massage or seated massage as a part of your corporate event is quite manageable in your usual communal workplace setting. However, having a separate room/space can be beneficial to create a private, relaxing ambience.
No, therapists you book via the platform do not use any oil for corporate event massages, as they are performed fully clothed. This makes it very practical for the work place or event you’re based in.
All therapists on the Blys platform are carefully vetted and must complete a comprehensive onboarding process before joining the platform. We require providers to have relevant experience for the services they offer, valid insurance and police checks as well while they sign up. We also have an internal rating system for our providers, which helps you decide which therapists to book for your event.
The massage chair your therapist uses for your event’s chair massage session is always wiped down with antibacterial between every client, and they are required to use a disposable paper cover/lining every time.
Booking for a corporate event can be quite challenging, however, as a general rule, the uptake of massage is around 70%. So, if you have an office of around 50 people, you should expect around 35 attendees. If you consider 15 minutes of seated massage for each of the 35 team members, this would be around 9 hours in total. This is just a tentative guide, and it is a good idea to ask around the workplace in advance to gauge the interest.
No, you don’t need to provide anything for the massage therapist, beauty therapist or wellness providers. They will arrive with ergonomic massage chairs (or any other massage equipment, depending on the service you’ve chosen), disposables, music, and everything required to create a relaxing massage station. You just need to have sufficient space of either 1.5 x 1m for chair massage or 2.5 x 1.5m for table massage.
You can definitely extend on the day itself, provided your therapist is available. However, you will need to get in touch with our team for more details.
A contraindication is an injury or medical condition that may require therapists to modify, and in very rare cases refrain from doing massage. For example. if you or any of your team members has a strained wrist, your therapist could still massage the neck and shoulders, but just avoid the injured area. But if they have had a recent surgery, there will be an absolute contraindication, refraining the therapist from working on them. Generally the therapist can modify the sequence to make it safe and enjoyable.
When greeting the client, your therapist will ask for areas to focus on, any injuries/contraindications, pressure, and instruct them how to sit on the chair if it’s a chair/seated massage or the table if you’ve opted for a table massage. This generally takes about 1 or 2 minutes. At the end of the massage, the therapist will make sure the client gets off safely, and sanitises the chair takes around another minute or two.
