If you’ve ever tried setting your service area and thought, “This circle doesn’t reflect how I actually work”, this update is for you.
Until now, service areas on Blys were based on a simple radius around a pin drop. Easy enough, but not always practical. Maybe you’re happy travelling east but not west. Maybe there are certain suburbs you love working in, and others you’d rather skip altogether.
Now, you can map out your service area exactly the way you want it — point by point, suburb by suburb, entirely on your terms.
You can now draw custom-shaped service areas directly in the Blys Pro App and Pro Dashboard.
Instead of being locked into a circular radius, you can create a service area that reflects how you actually travel and work day-to-day. Simply plot points on the map to outline the areas where you want to receive booking requests.
You can also:
- Create multiple service areas.
- Name each one.
- Colour-code them for quick visibility.
- Edit or remove them anytime.
Because your schedule changes… and your service area should keep up.
How It Works
For Mobile
Setting up your custom service area takes less than a minute:
1. Tap on Service Area under Profile in your Blys Pro App.
2. Tap on Add Service Area.
3. Tap on Draw Area and plot out the points on the map to outline your preferred area.
4. Close the shape by tapping back on your starting point, and tap on Done.
5. Add a name and colour for easy organisation, and save it by tapping on Add To My Area.
6. Your new service area will appear in your list, ready to be edited or removed anytime.
For PC
Prefer managing things from your computer? Here’s how:
1. Go to Service Area in your Pro Dashboard.
2. Click on Add New Service Area.
3. Click on Draw and choose your preferred drawing style:
- Plot points:
- Click around the map to create a custom shape around the area you want to be available in.

- Close the area by clicking back on your starting point, and click on Save Area.
- Draw free-hand:
- Click on Draw to start drawing your area free-hand.

- Drag your cursor around the map to quickly sketch your area in one motion. Customise your srevice area by giving it a name and colour and click on Save Area.
4. Your updated service areas will instantly appear on your Service Area List.
