We know that hygiene is top priority when it comes to beauty treatments. Your makeup artist will ensure that all their equipment is clean, sterile and in good working order prior to your consultation.

You should ensure that any sensitivities or allergies you may have are made clear in the Notes section during booking. Since Blys makeup artists supply their own products, we will strive to connect you with makeup artists who can adapt their products to suit your situation and requirements.

Ensure that your face is clean and dry prior to any makeup application. If possible, we recommend applying a face mask or hydrating lotion the night before application as this ensures the best surface for makeup application. It also helps improve the longevity of your makeup.

Mobile makeup artists on the Blys platform will supply all their own products to ensure that you receive the most flattering look possible. However, we understand the vision – sometimes you’re looking for an exact replica of a makeup look. You know your skin best, and you know what works for you.

We encourage clients to be open to the knowledge and creativity of their makeup artist. However, if you would prefer your makeup artist to use specific products, you will need to supply them. This includes specific lip shades, eyeshadow palettes, foundations, concealers, etc. Please make note that you will supply your own products in the Notes section during booking.
