How do I prepare for my hair appointment?
You will need to wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner just before your appointment so that your hair is still damp when your stylist arrives.
You’ll also need to set up a chair for you to sit on, close to a table that your stylist can use to lay out products and an electrical outlet to plug in tools.
If your hair is being cut, your stylist will bring a towel or piece of tarp to cover the floor and collect hair trimmings. If there are any hair trimmings leftover after your stylist removes the floor covering, you can clean these up with a broom or vacuum.
What products / tools will my hairdresser or hair stylist use?
Each hairdresser / hair stylist has their own professional kit, unique to them. To find out what products and tools your stylist will use, view their bio by heading to your upcoming bookings page and clicking on their profile picture.
If you have allergies or sensitivities to certain products, let your hairdresser / hair stylist know by adding a message for them in the notes for therapist section at the time of booking.

You can view photos of your hair stylist’s work on their profile page. You can access their profile page by heading to your upcoming booking page and clicking on your hair stylist’s profile picture.
Can I choose my hair stylist?
Yes! You can browse hair stylists in your area by heading to the provider directory and inputting your location and preferred service type into the search field.
From here you can click the individual provider listings to view their complete profile including their bio, reviews and rating.
Once you’ve chosen your preferred hair stylist you can book them directly by clicking the ‘book’ button on their profile page.
If your selected hair stylist isn’t available, we’ll prompt you to either reschedule to another time or select another hairdresser in your area.
Can I share inspiration photo’s with my hair stylist prior to my appointment?
Absolutely! You can upload inspiration photo’s at the time of placing your booking so that your hairdresser knows what type of look you’re after. You can also show them inspiration photo’s once they arrive.
Can I contact my hair stylist prior to my appointment?
Yes! 48 hours prior to your booking start time, you will be able to message your hair stylist using the chat function in the app. To access the chat function, open your app and head to the upcoming bookings page, select your booking and then click ‘message hair stylist’.
Your hair stylist will also have the ability to message you prior to your appointment to ask any questions they may have to ensure they can best prepare to achieve your desired results.
