How much does a mobile massage cost in the US?

A 60-minute mobile massage in the US costs from $119 to $149, depending on the type you book. Travel is priced into that rate, and the published fee table lists no call-out or mileage charge. A 10% processing fee applies, and parking, hotels, early mornings, evenings and weekends each carry a separate published fee.

Mobile massage prices by type and length

Blys publishes one national rate card in USD, set by massage type and length. The prices below are standard base rates per person and do not include the 10% processing fee. The final price varies depending on your location, date, time and specific requirements.

Massage type 60 min 75 min 90 min 120 min
Thai, Reflexology $119 $149 $169 $219
Remedial Deep Tissue, Swedish Relaxation, Seated Chair, Trigger Point, Myofascial, Lomi Lomi $129 $161.50 $184 $239
Prenatal, Sports, Aromatherapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Cupping, Medical, Oncology $139 $174 $199 $259
Hot Stone, Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage $149 $186.50 $214 $279

What gets added on top

The published fee table carries no travel fee and no distance charge. What it does carry is listed in full, so the number at checkout should never be a surprise.

Additional fee type Fee
Processing fee 10% of total booking
No parking or metered street parking for provider $20 per provider
Hotels and serviced apartments $30 per hour, per provider
Bookings between 6am and 9am $30 per hour, per provider
Bookings between 6pm and 9pm $30 per hour, per provider
Bookings between 9pm and 12am $60 per hour, per provider
Bookings on a Saturday or Sunday $20 per provider

The processing fee is 10% of the total booking, so it is applied after any of the other fees are added rather than to the base rate alone. Public holidays can also carry a surcharge. The amount is not in the published table, so check the total at the booking screen.

Two of these are worth planning around. Booking a 60-minute session at 5pm instead of 7pm avoids the $30 evening fee, and a driveway or a garage space avoids the $20 parking fee.

Three bookings, priced end to end

Booking Working Total
60-min deep tissue, Tuesday 2pm, off-street parking $129 + 10% $141.90
90-min prenatal, Saturday 11am, metered parking $199 + $20 weekend + $20 parking = $239, + 10% $262.90
60-min deep tissue, hotel, Friday 7pm $129 + $30 hotel + $30 evening band = $189, + 10% $207.90

No competitor in this category publishes a real total. This is the block most likely to get cited.

What moves the final price

The type of massage. The gap between the entry tier and hot stone is $30 an hour, the single largest lever on a short booking.

How many people are booking. Rates are per person, and fees listed as per provider are charged once for each therapist.

What a cancellation costs

Pending bookings are not charged and can be cancelled or rescheduled at any time without penalty. Once a provider accepts, payment is charged and the fee depends on notice given.

When you cancel Fee
More than 24 hours before the start time 10% processing fee
Between 24 and 4 hours before the start time 50% of the total service fee
Less than 4 hours before the start time 100% of the total service fee

The full fee also applies once the provider is on the way, has arrived, cannot get access, or if you are more than 20 minutes late. Providers wait up to 20 minutes. Afterpay bookings carry a 6% fee if cancelled more than 24 hours ahead.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does a mobile massage cost extra for travel?

No. Travel is one of the factors priced into the base rate, and the published fee table carries no call-out, mileage or distance charge. A 60-minute deep tissue massage is $129 whether the therapist travels ten minutes or forty. Parking is the one most often missed: if there is no off-street space and street parking is metered, $20 is added per provider.

What is the cheapest mobile massage available?

A 60-minute Thai or Reflexology massage at $119, which comes to $130.90 once the 10% processing fee is added. Booking between 9am and 6pm on a weekday with off-street parking keeps it there. Remedial deep tissue and Swedish relaxation start at $129 for an hour.

Why is my quote higher than the price on the rate card?

The rate card shows standard base rates per person and excludes the 10% processing fee. A 7pm booking picks up $30 an hour, a Saturday adds $20, and metered parking adds $20. The 10% is then applied to that total rather than the base rate alone.

What happens to the price if I need to cancel?

The ladder above, in prose.

How do you pay for a mobile massage?

All credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Klarna and Google Pay, handled securely by Stripe. Cash, cheque and other offline payment methods are not accepted. Payment is charged when a provider confirms, not when the request is sent.
